supercell’s new single! Didn’t know it was a Naruto ED until I found the song, hehe. And here are lyrics! There are a few Japanese terms I decided to leave in for effect, which I explain below. Also, Utakata Hanabi means “Ephemeral Fireworks.” Short-lived, like a relationship, hmm.

Random Japanese Word of the Day:
メンヘラ(menhera) – refers to a person with a mental illness. Comes from “mental health.”

What do Americans do? Well, of course, they can use “he” to substitute. This was all well and fine until feminism and gender equality came in and kicked this idea out the door. Plan B? Use “they.”

Now, it may not bother you (because you are a(n) _____), but it certainly bothers me. Now, unless that person harbors another person inside his body, I don’t want to hear him called “they (example using a male character).” So in situations where you don’t know the subject’s gender (or subject doesn’t have (only) one…), I propose we use the pronoun “ve.”

I will list all of the ve forms with example sentences below.

Subject: Ve (pronounced “vee”)
That person looks like a girl, but ve might be a trap.
Objective: Vir (pronounced “veer”)
Last night I was talking to someone online, and I gave vir my email address.
Possessive: Vis (pronounced “vis”)
It looks like somebody left vis water bottle on the train.

And there you are, the gender-ambiguous singular third party pronoun. This will be the next Frindle, with YOUR help.
So I beseech you to stop using “they” to refer to a singular person and instead use “ve.” And when your conversational partner looks at you in confusion, explain to vir this word, and if you’d like, link vir to this page.

Love Plus+ has been released a couple of days ago. Of course, those DSi bundles have been all pre-ordered and will be out of stock for who knows how long. Game’s also out of stock. Heck, just merchandise is out of stock. Congratulations.
Since it’s for the DSi, it means I am unable to play it on my bulky, red, battered DS original. I felt the temptation to get a DSi. Luckily, I’m not Japanese. So I decided to just wait for the 3DS, which should be out by the end of March next year. But wait, how much will it cost? Who knows? It had better not be $300 though. Seriously.
But good job, Nintendo. Marketing Love Plus+ netted you a bunch of final sales on the DSi. The 3DS, unless it just completely falls apart, is looking forward to great sales too.
Now, when is Love Plus 3D coming?

If that was hardly intelligible, it’s because I just came back from running next to an Indian guy. Russell Peters was right. They stink.

In any case, looks like Japan is one step closer to reaching 3D waifus. Oh, but not the ones who scream at you and beat you. Just the nice ones.

The end of Durarara!! approaches. This Thursday, the last episode (24) comes out. I can sense a lukewarm ending, but let’s just hope it turns out all right. With a second season. I must read the novels…
Still, it’s kind of sad. Durarara!! brought me to the Colorless. Okay, well, it’s now overrun by “newfags” and is turning into 4chan, but there are still some good things left. Also began Skype-ing with some of the “oldfags.” I HAVE FINALLY ACHIEVED CONTACT WITH A FEMININE GUY. I thought he seriously was a girl at first. That’s one thing crossed out in my To-Do list. Just need to meet Danny Choo and Sekihan/Pico now.
